Bids close Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at 3 p.m. EST. The tender schedules a public opening at 3:30 p.m. that day. The City anticipates a contract award about 30 calendar days after opening, but says a contract exists only once both parties sign a written agreement. The tender estimates about 4,117 metres of pipe will be cleaned and inspected, though actual quantities can change with field conditions, access, operational needs and available budget. The contractor is expected to coordinate work with Public Works to reduce disruption to residents, businesses and road users. Cleaning is to occur before inspection, using high-pressure jetting and vacuum equipment or other acceptable methods.
