The City is seeking a construction contractor for the West 40 Subdivision project. The tender identifies two work milestones: roads, drainage, ponds and a river-side cut-and-fill lot; and, provisionally, rough grading for the remaining market lots. ᓇᑭᓐᖔᖅᓯᒪᓂᖏᑦ↗

The tender is a concrete next step toward servicing industrial land in Iqaluit. It does not establish the final project cost, contractor, lot recipients or that all provisional work will proceed.

Questions are due Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. EST and bids close Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. EST. The tender’s indicative schedule lists approvals by Sept. 30, a potential award on Oct. 1 and a commence-work date of Oct. 6.
