The City of Iqaluit announced its annual household hazardous-waste drop-off event on Sept. 8. It is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Airbase Garage at Four Corners. ᓇᑭᓐᖔᖅᓯᒪᓂᖏᑦ↗

The event gives residents a local option to dispose of materials that should not go in regular garbage.
