The Department of Culture and Heritage announced Sept. 22 that the Iqaluit Centennial Library’s schedule has changed temporarily because of a staff shortage. The library is now open 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. ᓇᑭᓐᖔᖅᓯᒪᓂᖏᑦ↗

The change shortens the time Iqaluit residents can use library services, including weekday morning access. The notice gives no expected end date.

The department says it will announce a return to regular hours once the library is fully staffed. Residents can call the library at 867-975-5595 for information.
