The Department of Health has expanded its bassinet program territory-wide. It says each expectant parent in Nunavut can receive a new bassinet for their baby through the Newborn Wellness program, which also provides a wellness kit with supplies and educational resources in Nunavut’s official languages. This is a completed territory-wide service expansion, not a funding call or proposal.
