Coast Guard-led Arctic security exercise completed near Cambridge Bay
The Canadian Coast Guard says it completed Exercise ARCTIC GHOST near Cambridge Bay from Sept. 15 to 19. The joint training involved the Coast Guard, Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP, including patrols and simulated searches and interceptions of suspicious or illegal vessels. The Canadian Coast Guard announced Sept. 24 that its ship Des Groseilliers completed Exercise ARCTIC GHOST in the Cambridge Bay area. HMCS Robert Hampton Gray, Canadian Armed Forces personnel and RCMP partners took part.
