CMHC says Iqaluit public-housing waitlist exceeded 400 in February 2025

What happened
CMHC reports that Iqaluit’s NHC-administered public housing represented roughly one-fifth of all rental stock. It says some units required significant repairs and that, as of February 2025, 36 public-housing units were vacant while more than 400 households were on waitlists.
