Iqaluit council approves 118-unit Astro Hill apartment redevelopment
Iqaluit council unanimously approved a conditional development permit on Aug. 25 for two five-storey apartment buildings that would replace the “white row” buildings at 352 and 354 in the Core Area. Iqaluit’s 2026 burn permits require Dispatch calls before and after every permitted fire
Iqaluit’s current 2026 burn-permit forms require permit holders to call Fire Dispatch before lighting a permitted open-air fire and again after it is extinguished.
