The City says it will provide more information if further updates become available. Its Aug. 26 notice said Municipal Enforcement was awaiting the formal RCMP file and would review the matter under applicable animal-control bylaws and Public Health direction. Source↗

The earlier City notice said the RCMP had advised that its investigation found no criminal activity and that the dog was reportedly tethered rather than at large.
