KIA’s current scholarships page says its application period, normally open from June 1 to July 31, has been extended to Sept. 25, 2026. KIA lists the President’s, Ukkusiksalik, Meliadine, Whale Tail and Canadian Heritage Rivers scholarships on the page. It says completed education-related applications can be sent to scholarships@kivalliqinuit.ca or applicants can contact their local Community Liaison Officer.

The extension gives eligible Kivalliq Inuit students more time to apply for funding as the post-secondary school year begins. KIA says the scholarships total $92,000 annually and are awarded in October.
