Iqaluit has the largest single-community share of the reported Nunavut 3000 public-housing portfolio. The 58 planned Iqaluit units are not yet assured: NHC says they depend on municipal development-permit approvals. The report also says 46 of the 48 Iqaluit units then under development were expected to reach substantial completion in June 2026, so a further update is needed to establish whether that milestone was met and whether units have been handed over.
